Qualifications and Experience:

ARRT (CT) certification required Previous experience operating computerized tomography scanners In-depth knowledge of diagnostic imaging protocols and radiation safety (ALARA principles) Ability to provide age-appropriate care for diverse patient populations Strong communication skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and clinical team Experience educating student Radiologic Technologists is preferred

Key Responsibilities:

Prioritize patient care and safety during all imaging procedures, ensuring strict adherence to protocol Efficiently utilize imaging equipment, minimizing repeat scans while maintaining high-quality standards Accurately document orders, clinical histories, and procedure details in the electronic records system Prepare patients for imaging procedures, obtaining consent and providing clear instructions throughout the process Communicate effectively with radiologists and the broader healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes Maintain compliance with hospital, departmental, and safety policies, including DHEC, TJC, and other regulatory organizations Actively assist in the education and supervision of student technologists, supporting a collaborative teaching environment Uphold confidentiality and promote the core values and mission of high-quality, patient-focused care This is an excellent opportunity to advance your skills and make a significant impact, working alongside dedicated professionals.
