Job Description

Category Imaging - MRI Job Type Contract Make an impact in patient care through expertise in imaging as a skilled MRI Technologist. This contract opportunity offers you the chance to work with the latest MRI equipment and support medical teams in accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
Qualifications & Experience:
ARRT (MR) certification or registry eligible Current state radiologic technologist license (or eligibility) Minimum of one year of experience as an MRI Technologist Proficient in operating MRI scanners and conducting various imaging procedures Strong understanding of patient safety regarding MRI, including screening and emergency procedures Excellent communication skills with patients and healthcare staff Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Key Responsibilities:
Perform high-quality MRI scans according to physician orders and established protocols Prepare and position patients for imaging, ensuring comfort and safety throughout the procedure Review images for quality and completeness before submission to radiologists Maintain accurate patient records and document procedures Monitor MRI equipment functionality and communicate any maintenance needs Strictly adhere to infection control policies and confidentiality guidelines Provide clear patient instructions and compassionate care to those undergoing scans This role is well-suited for a dedicated imaging professional passionate about delivering quality diagnostic services and fostering a positive patient experience.
