Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated X-ray/ CT Technologist to join our healthcare team. We are looking for PRN. Will discuss hours in person in more detail. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures using X-ray and CT equipment, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the process. This role requires a strong understanding of medical imaging techniques, as well as the ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals. Responsibilities Perform X-ray/ CT examinations on patients while adhering to safety protocols and aseptic techniques. Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, ensuring their comfort and understanding of the process. Operate equipment and ensure proper functioning by conducting routine maintenance checks. Review and analyze images for quality assurance, identifying any issues that may require further examination. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation related to imaging procedures. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare staff to discuss imaging results and contribute to patient care decisions. Requirements Valid certification as an Radiologic Technologist from an accredited program. Proficiency in medical terminology and diagnostic radiology practices. Experience with various imaging modalities such as CT. Strong knowledge of aseptic technique and patient safety standards in a clinical setting. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare team members. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
