Responsibilities The Mammography Technologist II performs screening and diagnostic mammography procedures, including stereotactic biopsies, under the direction of a radiologist. This role provides compassionate, patient-centered care while ensuring high-quality imaging and adherence to safety and regulatory standards. Perform screening and diagnostic mammography procedures, including stereotactic biopsies Operate mammography equipment and ensure high-quality imaging Provide compassionate, patient-centered care across all age groups Conduct quality control checks and monitor equipment performance Identify and report equipment issues or safety concerns Communicate clearly with patients, radiologists, and healthcare team members Review patient orders and recognize abnormalities using critical thinking Additional Duties Support departmental operations and workflow Assist with training and mentoring students or staff Maintain supplies and ensure equipment cleanliness and readiness Ensure compliance with regulatory and radiation safety standards Participate in on-call rotation and work occasional weekends or holidays Qualifications Education Completion of an accredited hospital program Licenses & Certifications Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT
