Job Description

Category Imaging - IR Tech Job Type Contract Step into an essential role as an Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist, contributing your expertise to a skilled imaging department. This contract position runs for 13 weeks, offering the opportunity to work alongside dedicated professionals in a dynamic healthcare setting.
Schedule and Hours:
Mainly four 10-hour shifts per week (Monday through Friday) Occasional fifth shift may be required, based on staffing needs Hours generally between 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM Expect 36-40 hours weekly On-call responsibility: 7 days per 5-week period, including at least one Friday, Saturday, and Sunday Weekend duties only when scheduled on call Holiday coverage required if a holiday falls during your contract
Required Qualifications:
Active and current ARRT registration Current BLS certification Minimum of two years' experience in Interventional Radiology, including both peripheral and neuro procedures Proficient with specialized IR imaging equipment and safety protocols Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality patient care Ability to work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures as prescribed Assist with patient preparation and monitoring throughout procedures Ensure imaging equipment is properly maintained and functioning optimally Maintain accurate, confidential patient records and documentation Observe stringent safety standards for radiation and infection control Deliver compassionate care with sensitivity to patient needs during procedures Participate in on-call rotations and respond to urgent imaging or procedural requests Excel in an environment where your IR skills directly benefit patient outcomes, working within a supportive and professional healthcare team.
