Job Description
Overview Join our team as an X-ray technician in the field of Rheumatology dealing with arthritis and autoimmune diseases. 4 day work week Monday-Thursday. Duties Operate X-rays and DEXA scan (preferred or willing to certify) Accurately position patients to obtain optimal images while adhering to safety protocols related to radiation exposure. Maintain detailed records of procedures performed, patient information, and equipment calibration logs. Ensure compliance with all safety standards, including radiation safety guidelines and infection control protocols. Skills Knowledge of diagnostic radiology techniques. knowledge of patient anatomy and routine exam for x-rays. Proficiency in operating X-ray and DEXA scan (preferred or willing to certify) Excellent communication skills to explain procedures clearly to patients and collaborate effectively with healthcare teams.
