- Job Summary and Qualifications
- The CT Technologist performs CT scans while providing the highest level of customer service and image quality.
- What You Will Do in This Role
- + •Perform high-quality CT exams following established protocols in a timely manner.
- + •Prepare procedure trays, start IVs for contrast administration, and utilize the power injector.
- + •Gather patient history, signs, and symptoms to provide radiologists with necessary clinical context.
- + •Support department quality (QI) and performance improvement (PI) initiatives while adhering to ICARE values.
- + •Comply with quarterly targeted metrics and maintain all required licenses and accreditations.
- + •Contribute to the department's after-hour coverage through a collaborative on-call shift rotation.
- + •Perform other duties as assigned to support the diagnostic imaging team.
- What Qualifications You Will Need
- + •Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology.
- + •Current ARRT certification with advanced registry, or registry eligible with advanced CT certification within 1 year of hire or within 6 months of eligibility.
- + •1 year post-graduate experience preferred.
- + •BLS certification required.
