Summary "MRI Technologist" is a vital role at our centers, responsible for performing high-quality MRI scans to assist in accurate diagnosis. Located in Chattanooga, this position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a leading healthcare provider dedicated to excellence in medical imaging. Responsibilities Operate MRI equipment safely and efficiently to produce clear images for diagnosis. Prepare patients for imaging procedures, ensuring comfort and safety. Follow established protocols and maintain compliance with safety standards. Collaborate with radiologists and medical staff to deliver precise diagnostic results. Maintain accurate records of procedures and patient information. Ensure the cleanliness and proper functioning of imaging equipment. Stay updated on the latest MRI techniques and technology advancements. Assist in training new staff or students as needed. Qualifications Proven experience as an MRI Technologist or similar role. Certification in MRI technology from an accredited program. Strong knowledge of MRI procedures, safety protocols, and patient care. Excellent communication skills and attention to detail. Ability to work effectively within a team environment. Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
