Job Description

CT/Xray Technologist Schedule:
PRN Join our dynamic healthcare team as a CT/Xray Technologist , where you'll play a vital role in patient care by performing high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures. In this essential position, you'll work collaboratively with medical professionals to ensure accurate and timely imaging services, contributing to our commitment to exceptional patient outcomes and service excellence. Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring it is clean and functioning properly. Prepare patients for imaging procedures, explaining the process and answering any questions. Position patients correctly to obtain optimal images, taking into consideration patient comfort and safety. Evaluate images for technical quality, ensuring proper identification and documentation. Ensure adherence to radiation safety protocols and guidelines to minimize exposure to patients and staff. Maintain accurate patient records and manage imaging data in the electronic health record system. Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide comprehensive patient care. Stay updated on advancements in radiology techniques and equipment through continuous education and training. Troubleshoot and report any equipment malfunctions or technical issues to appropriate personnel. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program (Bachelors preferred). Additional state requirements as applicable. Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may substitute for education requirements. State licensed ARRT (R) certification (CT preferred) BLS Minimum 2 years of CT experience required.
