Job Description

Category Imaging - CT Job Type Contract Showcase your expertise in medical imaging in a dynamic healthcare environment! This contract opportunity is ideal for professionals skilled in both CT and X-ray modalities who thrive in fast-paced clinical settings. You'll play a critical role in patient diagnosis and care, working closely with radiologists and medical staff to produce high-quality images and ensure patient safety.
Schedule:
Rotating shifts, 7:00am - 7:00pm One overnight shift per month, 7:00pm - 7:00am Commitment to 1-2 weekends per month
Qualifications:
Valid ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology CT and X-ray imaging experience required Current state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist BLS (Basic Life Support) certification active Strong interpersonal, communication, and critical thinking skills Adherence to safety procedures and patient confidentiality standards
Role Responsibilities:
Operate CT and X-ray equipment to produce accurate diagnostic images Position patients and adjust equipment for optimal imaging, prioritizing comfort and safety Collaborate with medical staff to ensure timely, high-quality imaging results Perform routine equipment checks and keep detailed records Apply infection control protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment Educate patients about procedures, answer questions, and address concerns compassionately Assist in emergencies with flexibility and a calm demeanor
