Radiology Technologist (C-Arm Operator)

Position Summary :

Southside Specialty Surgery Center is seeking a dependable and patient-focused Part-Time Radiologic Technologist to join our surgical team. Ideal opportunity for a Radiologic Technologist seeking supplemental income, work-life balance, or a flexible part-time schedule. Our center specializes primarily in pain management and spine procedures. This position is responsible for operating the C-arm during surgical procedures and working closely with physicians, anesthesia providers, and clinical staff to support safe and efficient patient care.

Responsibilities:

Operate C-arm fluoroscopy equipment during pain management and spine procedures Ensure radiation safety standards are followed for patients and staff Assist physicians with imaging needs during procedures Perform routine equipment checks and report any issues Maintain accurate documentation as required Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and nursing staff to support efficient patient flow

Education/Experience/Licenses/Certificates/Eligibility :

Current Texas Medical Board Radiologic Technologist certification required ARRT certification preferred Experience operating a C-arm in a surgical, pain management, orthopedic, spine, hospital, or ambulatory surgery setting preferred Current CPR certification preferred

Schedule & Benefits:

Part-time position (typically 1-2 days per week) during Monday-Friday daytime hours No nights, weekends, or on-call responsibilities Off on major holidays Opportunities for additional hours based on case volume and staffing needs Small, team-oriented surgical center environment
