This position offers exposure to advanced trauma, neuro-stroke, and interventional procedures while working alongside a highly specialized clinical team. Compensation Package $49/hour Taxable Rate $1,190 Weekly Lodging Stipend $560 Weekly Meals & Incidentals Stipend $3,710

Phone or Virtual Requirements ARRT Certification Required Texas MRT License Required BLS Certification (AHA Only) Minimum 2 Years of Interventional Radiology Experience Trauma-Body Experience Required Neuro-Stroke Experience Required Epic Experience Preferred Level I Trauma Center Experience Preferred ARRT-VI Preferred Job Responsibilities The Interventional Radiology Technologist performs high-quality IR procedures under the supervision of a Radiologist for both ambulatory and hospitalized patients.

Responsibilities include:

Performing diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures according to established protocols Preparing patients and procedure rooms while maintaining sterile technique Assisting with trauma and neuro-stroke interventions Educating patients regarding procedures and ensuring a positive patient experience Maintaining compliance with radiation safety, infection control, and regulatory standards Operating and troubleshooting imaging equipment Documenting patient care accurately and completely Participating in on-call coverage and emergency procedures as required Collaborating with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary care teams Ideal Candidate The successful candidate will: Perform procedures efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards Remain calm and professional in fast-paced environments Demonstrate excellent communication and patient care skills Work independently with minimal supervision Serve as a mentor and resource for team members when needed Be comfortable caring for patients across all age groups, including pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations Additional Information Hospital-Provided Scrubs Local Candidates Accepted 50-Mile Radius Waived for This Position Due to call requirements, candidates must be able to report and be procedure-ready within 30 minutes of notification, including drive time, parking, and travel to the department Why Consider This Opportunity?
