We're currently seeking a skilled and caring Radiology Tech to join our collaborative and mission-driven team. As a vital part of our Radiology Department, you'll play a key role in helping diagnose and care for our young patients—making a lasting difference in their lives every day. Why Join Us? Day shifts Monday through Friday, generally between 7am-5pm. No weekends, no holidays or overnights. Responsibilities The Radiology Technologist will perform diagnostic imaging examinations for the diagnosis and treatment of pediatric patients. This may include fractures, diseases, and abnormalities of patient anatomy. Responsible for accurately positioning patients and ensuring that a quality radiographic image is produced. Works closely with radiologists and physicians who interpret images to either diagnose or rule out disease or injury. Responsible for communication and documentation of patient images. Maintain communication with patients, parents, and medical personnel. Maintains on-going plan for personal growth and self-development. Demonstrates professional role requirements related to communication with peers and supervisor and flexibility during unexpected work related events. This is not an all-inclusive list of this job's responsibilities. The incumbent may be required to perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.
Qualifications Required:
Associate's in Radiologic Technology from an accredited radiologic technology program Must hold both the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification/registration and Texas Medical Branch Radiologic Technologist state license Must be Basic Life Support (BLS) certified by theAmerican Heart Association Preferred:
