  • Part-time, PRN Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Cardiac CT Technologist to join our dynamic cardiovascular imaging team.
In this vital role, you will utilize advanced computed tomography (CT) technology to produce detailed images of the heart and coronary arteries, supporting accurate diagnosis and treatment planning. Your expertise will help facilitate high-quality cardiac imaging procedures in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge cardiac care within a leading healthcare facility committed to excellence and innovation. Duties Perform specialized Cardiac CT scans, including coronary calcium scoring, CT angiography, and other advanced cardiac imaging procedures. Prepare patients for imaging by explaining procedures, ensuring proper positioning, and monitoring vital signs throughout the process. Apply aseptic techniques to maintain a sterile environment during invasive or semi-invasive procedures. Collaborate with cardiologists, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal diagnostic outcomes. Monitor patient physiology and vital signs during procedures, responding promptly to any changes or emergencies. Maintain accurate documentation of imaging procedures, patient information, and technical parameters in compliance with hospital policies. Ensure safety protocols are followed rigorously, including infection control standards and radiation safety guidelines. Skills Strong understanding of anatomy related to the heart and vascular system. Experience working in Cardiovascular CT. Ability to interpret vital signs accurately and respond effectively in urgent situations. Familiarity with physiology principles relevant to cardiac function and imaging. Excellent knowledge of medical terminology, aseptic techniques, and radiation safety practices.
