Job Description

Job Overview Skilled and dedicated Radiologic Technologist needed for an evening shift role. Schedule will be 3p - 11p, Monday through Friday (Flexible), or Possibility of (4) 10hr shifts . The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic radiology procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. The successful applicant will be working in a fast-paced environment, utilizing their knowledge of anatomy and physiology to produce high-quality images. This is an exciting opportunity for an X-ray Technologist to work in an Urgent Care setting, supporting a multidisciplinary team in providing exceptional patient care. Responsibilities Prepare patients for diagnostic imaging procedures, including CT scans Operate X-ray and other diagnostic imaging equipment safely and accurately Perform radiologic procedures according to established protocols and standards Maintain a clean, organized environment while following infection control guidelines Collaborate with providers and radiologists to support accurate diagnosis and treatment Maintain current knowledge of radiologic procedures and department protocols Participate in quality control and quality improvement initiatives Educate and support patients throughout the imaging process Qualifications Current certification as a Radiologic Technologist, RT.(R) , or equivalent. Experience in an ER setting preferred Knowledge of diagnostic radiography and positioning Strong understanding of anatomy and physiology Ability to perform in a high-pressure, dynamic environment Excellent communication and patient care skills Commitment to the highest standards of patient safety and quality Skills Diagnostic radiology Knowledge of anatomy and physiology Proficiency in CT preferred but not required o •If no CT experience, must be willing to cross-train. • Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy desired Experience in an ER setting Job Type Full-time Benefits 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Employee discount Flexible spending account Health insurance Life insurance Paid time off/ (Paid Holidays- determined per annum) Professional development assistance Referral program Tuition reimbursement Vision insurance
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Regularly required to stand, walk, sit, ascend and descend stairs, possess ability to handle, finger or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms. Must be able to lift 25 pounds from the floor to waist and may occasionally be required to lift 50 pounds from the floor to waist level. Specific vision abilities include close vision and the ability to clearly focus vision.
