We are seeking an X-Ray Tech /cross trained to work in a hospital based setting working an evening shift 3p-11p Mon-Fri. Part-time options as well. Excellent compensation and benefits package with a signing bonus of $1,000 and relocation assistance. The X-Ray Tech should be cross trained in working in CT. Great opportunity in the Hill Country of Texas. Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled X-ray Technician to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. This role requires a strong understanding of medical imaging techniques and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care in various settings, including urgent care and emergency medicine. Duties Perform X-ray examinations on patients as per physician orders, ensuring adherence to safety protocols. Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process and addressing any concerns. Position patients correctly to obtain the best possible images while minimizing discomfort. Maintain and operate imaging equipment, ensuring it is functioning properly and safely. Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to discuss findings and assist in diagnosis. Document patient information, imaging results, and maintain accurate records in compliance with healthcare regulations. Stay updated on advancements in medical imaging techniques, and the Xray tech will be trained on CT as well. Skills Proficiency in various medical imaging modalities, including X-ray, and a willingness to be cross trained in CT. Experience working in a hospital settings is preferred. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare team members. Attention to detail to ensure high-quality imaging results and patient safety.
