Job Description
PRN MRI Technologist Texas Imaging Partners is seeking a dependable and patient-focused PRN MRI Technologist to join our growing team. This position is ideal for an experienced technologist looking for flexible hours while providing exceptional patient care in a fast-paced outpatient imaging center. Our facility is equipped with a state-of-the-art Ultra-Wide Bore 3T MRI , offering a comfortable experience for patients while delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging. Responsibilities Perform MRI examinations according to physician orders and established protocols. Ensure patient safety by following all MRI screening and safety procedures. Explain imaging procedures and answer patient questions to provide a positive experience. Position patients accurately to obtain optimal image quality. Monitor image quality and repeat sequences when necessary. Maintain accurate patient documentation and records. Communicate effectively with radiologists, referring providers, and office staff. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the MRI suite. Follow HIPAA and all applicable regulatory guidelines. Qualifications ARRT (MR) certification required. Current Texas Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) license required. BLS certification preferred. Minimum of one year of MRI experience preferred. Experience with a 3T MRI system is a plus. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently. Schedule PRN / As Needed Weekday, evening, and weekend availability preferred.
