Schedule/Hours:
Four 10-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM, with a rotating day off each week
Qualifications:
ARRT certification required Texas Medical Board (TMB) license required American Heart Association BLS certification required Vascular Interventional (VI) certification preferred Previous Interventional Radiology experience (pediatric experience preferred) Comprehensive understanding of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology Demonstrated critical thinking, professional judgment, and ongoing commitment to continuing education
Responsibilities:
Perform and document specialized interventional radiographic and diagnostic procedures Act as a liaison between patients and clinical team Uphold high standards for patient care, safety, and infection control Prepare and administer contrast agents and medications per policy and regulation Conduct patient assessments and ensure informed consent Maintain supplies, quality control, and appropriate inventory Mentor and educate team members and students Participate in ongoing process improvement and quality initiatives
