This opportunity is ideal for a technologist looking to work within a more specialized MRI environment utilizing FONAR technology.
FONAR MRI
systems provide a unique patient experience and require technologists who are confident in patient care, positioning, communication, and image quality. This role offers the opportunity to work with advanced imaging technology in an outpatient setting focused on comfort, compassion, and diagnostic excellence. We are looking for a professional who takes pride in delivering exceptional imaging quality while creating a positive and reassuring experience for every patient. What you DO Perform high-quality MRI scans in accordance with physician orders and established protocols Prepare and position patients to ensure comfort and safety during procedures Operate MRI equipment and monitor imaging quality for diagnostic accuracy Educate and communicate with patients to reduce anxiety and ensure cooperation Accurately document exams and maintain records in
PACS/RIS
systems Collaborate with radiologists and team members to support efficient workflow Adhere to all regulatory, safety, and infection control procedures What you
BRING ARRT
(MR) certification or eligibility required Experience working in MRI required Experience working with
FONAR MRI
systems preferred Outpatient imaging experience preferred Strong patient care and communication skills Ability to work independently while maintaining attention to detail Commitment to quality imaging and exceptional patient experience
