Job Description

Degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1+ years MRI experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to deliver high-quality imaging services in a clinic environment supporting both inpatient and outpatient populations. This is a contract opportunity spanning 13 weeks with a consistent evening schedule.
Schedule:
Monday through Friday 1:00 PM - 9:00 PM (5x8 hour shifts) No weekends
Key Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of MRI experience Current certifications: BLS (AHA only), MRT, and ARRT-MR Proficiency with Siemens MRI equipment and Epic (preferred) Knowledge of infection control, patient safety, and sterile techniques Professional communication and customer service skills Ability to work independently and as a preceptor when needed Comfortable working with all patient age groups
Role Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostic MRI procedures in accordance with established protocols under the direction of a Radiologist Deliver patient-focused care, explaining procedures clearly and ensuring patient comfort and understanding Prepare examination areas and equipment, position patients appropriately, and manage immobilization devices as needed Safeguard safety by meticulously screening patients and adhering to radiation, infection-control, and drug policies Maintain detailed imaging records, verify patient documentation, and observe privacy and documentation standards Collaborate with engineering staff to support equipment performance, reporting issues promptly and maintaining inventory of supplies Adhere to cleanliness and quality standards across all work areas Provide training and mentorship to new staff and adapt to changes in protocols or workflows
