Job Summary and Qualifications The Radiology Manager is responsible for the department ' s continu ous effective operation under the direction of the R adiology D irector . The radiology manager will assist with operations in CT, MRI, Ultrasound, X -ray, N uclear M edicine, PICC, transport ation services and reception areas . Other duties will include a ssist ing the r adiology d irector in providing quality accurate i m aging for neonatal, pediatric, adult and geriatric patients while understanding the physical needs and limitations of the patient population. What you will do in the role: Ass ists with recurring tasks (payroll, evaluations, supply orders, PACS, etc.) Assume responsibility for the radiology department in the absence of the radiology director Maintain and assist the development of plans for improv ing patient satisfaction Assures the radiology staff follow hosp ital and corporate policies for patient s afety , in fection control and radiation safety . Assist s with regulatory compliance for agencies such as ACR, TDH, QRS, and JCAHO . Assures staff is licensed by their accrediting b oards and maintains such licensure as required by profession . Assist s with staffing and maintaining productivity targets for all radiology departments Assist s with the development of quality improvement process es . Provide s progressive discipline to staff as needed . Provide s assistance with radiology business plan , staff meetings and department goals Understand s department budget and provide s support with keep ing department spending within guidelines Help s maintain Radiation Right and Radiation safety programs What qualifications you will need: (RT) Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer in the state of Texas license required (ARRT-R) Radiography, or (ARRT-CT) Computed Tomography, or (ARRT-N) Nuclear Medicine Technology license required Previous supervisory experience in a diagnostic imaging facility ( preferred ) Clinical experience in the management of multiple diagnostic imaging modalities. is a 530+ bed hospital where sophisticated, world-class medicine meets the comfort, care and convenience of a community hospital .
