  • Outpatient Imaging Center Mountain Medical is seeking a PRN MRI Technologist to join our outpatient imaging center team.
We are looking for someone who is dedicated to delivering high-quality imaging services and providing an exceptional patient experience. Position Overview The MRI Technologist plays a key role in providing safe, accurate, and timely MRI services. This position requires strong technical skills, sound clinical judgment, and excellent communication abilities. The technologist will work collaboratively with physicians, patients, families, and other healthcare personnel to ensure a positive experience and support our commitment to service excellence. Responsibilities Perform high-quality MRI exams in a professional, efficient, patient-focused manner. Proficient in cross-sectional anatomy and MRI Physics. Ensure adequate inventory of supplies to avoid service interruptions. Promptly report and document any equipment issues or malfunctions. Maintain accurate service logs and documentation. Foster strong working relationships with radiologists, medical directors, and imaging center staff. Provide excellent customer service to patients, referring providers, and clinical teams. Assist in maintaining and updating imaging protocols under physician direction. Accurately conduct patient screening and address any safety concerns prior to imaging. Requirements ARRT (MR) certification or registry eligible required. Current BLS certification. Minimum of 1-2 years of MRI experience preferred. Competent in administering injections (IV catheter placement and contrast administration under physician supervision). Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to adapt and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work effectively with physicians, clinical staff, and patients while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.
