  • Job Description:
  • The Spine Institute in Murray, UT is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented PRN X-Ray Technician to join our dynamic medical team on a prn basis as well as 1 full day per week.
In this role, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures in a fast-paced environment. You will work up to 1-2 days per week and as needed to cover for vacations, providing flexibility and the opportunity to work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals to deliver top-quality patient care.
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform high-quality X-ray examinations for patients in accordance with established protocols and safety regulations.
Ensure accurate patient positioning and application of appropriate exposure techniques to obtain optimal imaging results. Prepare and maintain X-ray equipment, ensuring it is calibrated and functioning properly. Communicate effectively with patients to explain procedures and alleviate any concerns, ensuring a comfortable experience. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, adhering to privacy and confidentiality standards. Follow all safety guidelines to protect patients, team members, and oneself from unnecessary radiation exposure. Stay updated on the latest advancements in radiology techniques and technology through continuous education and training.
  • Qualifications:
  • Valid certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) or equivalent state certification.
Proven experience as an X-Ray Technician, preferably in a clinical or hospital setting. Strong understanding of radiographic principles, techniques, and safety protocols. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-centered approach. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility to work on an as-needed basis. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
