Job Description

Category Imaging - MRI Job Type Contract Step into a vital role providing advanced MRI imaging services in a collaborative healthcare environment. This contract opportunity allows you to directly contribute to patient care using state-of-the-art MRI technology, ensuring the highest standards of diagnostic imaging and patient safety.
Qualifications & Experience:
Current certification or registration in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (ARRT MRI or equivalent) Prior experience operating MRI equipment in a healthcare setting Proficient in MRI safety protocols and emergency procedures Strong knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and imaging techniques Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients, families, and medical staff Ability to accurately document and maintain patient records Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and position patients for MRI procedures while maintaining patient comfort and safety Operate MRI equipment and monitor imaging processes, following prescribed protocols Assess image quality and ensure images meet diagnostic requirements Maintain equipment, troubleshoot issues, and perform preliminary quality checks Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to facilitate patient care Adhere to facility policies, infection control standards, and HIPAA regulations Provide patient education regarding procedures and answer related questions Manage workflow efficiently to accommodate scheduling and minimize patient wait times This is a contract position that offers the opportunity to deliver highly valuable diagnostic services in a supportive, multidisciplinary setting.
