Mammography Technologist Salt Lake City, UT About the Opportunity Join a premier, patient-focused healthcare organization dedicated to advancing women s health. Role Overview As a Mammography Technologist, you will operate advanced X-ray equipment and perform a range of diagnostic procedures. This role requires a high degree of accuracy in positioning and exposure techniques, alongside a compassionate "patient-first" communication style.
Schedule:
Full-Time Monday Friday, 7:00 am 4:30 pm Occasional Saturdays required
Key Responsibilities:
Perform high-quality screening and diagnostic mammograms. Educate patients on procedures and the importance of preventative breast health. Prepare for and assist Radiologists with intricate exams, including ultrasound core and stereotactic biopsies. Ensure strict adherence to radiation safety measures and clinical protocols. Maintain precise documentation and utilize
RIS/PACS
software for patient data.
Qualifications:
Education:
Completion of an approved two-year School of Radiologic Technology.
Experience:
Minimum 1 year of full-time Mammography experience; documentation of clinical experience and 3D (Tomosynthesis) is required.
Licensure/Certification:
Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT). Valid State Radiology registration. Current CPR/BLS Certification.
Compliance:
Must meet
MQSA/FDA
standards (15 CEUs every 3 years; 200 documented cases every 2 years).
Technical Skills:
Knowledge of eRad or Sectra
RIS/PACS
