Job Description

Category Imaging - CT Job Type Contract Contribute your expertise as a skilled Imaging - CT professional in a contract position with a busy healthcare environment. You will play a pivotal role in delivering precise and compassionate care through advanced CT imaging, partnering with interdisciplinary teams to ensure diagnostic excellence and patient comfort.
Qualifications & Experience:
Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program with current ARRT (CT) certification Valid state licensure (as required) Prior experience operating CT imaging equipment with strong troubleshooting and critical thinking abilities Sound knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy, radiation safety, and procedural protocols Ability to interact sensitively and effectively with patients of all backgrounds and ages Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and upholding compliance standards Flexibility to adapt to varied patient caseloads and workflow demands
Key Responsibilities:
Perform CT imaging studies in accordance with physician orders and established safety procedures Prepare and position patients while explaining procedures and ensuring their comfort and safety Operate CT equipment, optimize image quality, and assist radiologists with specialized protocols Review and verify orders, patient histories, and technical parameters for accuracy Follow rigorous infection control and radiation safety protocols Document study information accurately using electronic health record systems Maintain equipment, troubleshoot minor issues, and coordinate service as needed As a valued member of this healthcare team, you will have the opportunity to make a direct impact in patient diagnosis and outcomes.
