Schedule/Hours:
Travel assignment (full-time; specific shifts to be discussed)
Key Qualifications:
Current ARRT (R) registration; ARRT (M) certification in Mammography required Valid Utah State Radiologic Technologist License (or eligibility to obtain) Recent experience performing mammography, including advanced procedures such as stereotactic biopsies, clip placements, and drainages Knowledge of and adherence to radiation safety practices (ALARA) Strong attention to detail and organized approach to documentation Ability to work independently without constant supervision
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct radiographic mammography procedures following departmental protocols Ensure accurate patient identification, order verification, and friendly patient preparation for all exams Operate state-of-the-art mammography equipment to capture high-quality diagnostic images Utilize creativity and clinical judgment to select appropriate techniques, ensuring top-tier image quality Keep up-to-date with evolving mammography procedures, technology, and documentation standards Maintain detailed records as required by regulatory bodies, including accurate time stamps and image storage
