MRI Technician | Arlington, Virginia Soliant - 3.9 Arlington, VA Job Details Contract 3 hours ago Qualifications ARRT (MR) Certification MRI Certification Image acquisition for patient care X-Ray Certification ARRT (R) Certification MRI Operating medical imaging equipment Full Job Description Degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1+ years MRI experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Seeking an experienced MRI Technologist for a contract assignment in a dynamic healthcare environment. This opportunity offers overnight shifts from 10:00 pm to 6:30 am, Monday through Friday, for a 13-week period. Candidates able to demonstrate proof of Virginia MRI license application in progress are encouraged to apply and must follow the temporary licensure process.
Schedule:
Night shift: 5x8-hour shifts (22:00 - 06:30) Monday throughFriday Qualifications:
Current ARRT certification in both Radiography (R) and MRI (MR) At least 2 years of MRI technologist experience Ability to submit proof of Virginia license application or current licensure Proficiency in operating Siemens Skyra 3T, Siemens Sola 1.5T, and GE Signa HDx 1.5T scanners Experience with EPIC Radiology MT Online systems preferredResponsibilities:
Perform high-quality MRI procedures independently and safely using advanced technology Maintain compliance with safety protocols, regulatory standards, and HIPAA requirements Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other care team members to ensure optimal patient care Adhere to proper documentation procedures within the EPIC system Prepare and position patients, explaining procedures clearly while providing compassionate support Maintain organization of work area and equipment, ensuring grey scrubs are worn as specifiedAdditional Information:
Flu vaccination is mandatory during flu season (Oct 1 - Mar 31), with medical or religious exemption requests subject to additional documentation and review in line with CMS standards.
