Job Description

Category Imaging - Radiology Tech Job Type Travel An exciting opportunity is available for a skilled professional with experience in Imaging as a Radiology Tech. This contract position calls for a dedicated individual ready to provide high-quality diagnostic imaging services and contribute to patient care. You will collaborate with physicians and the clinical team to deliver accurate radiographic examinations and ensure patient comfort and safety throughout each procedure.
Key Qualifications:
Current certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) or equivalent. Valid state licensure in radiologic technology. Demonstrated experience with digital and traditional radiology equipment. Strong understanding of radiation safety protocols. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced medical environment. BLS certification preferred.
Responsibilities:
Operate imaging equipment to conduct a variety of diagnostic radiology examinations. Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures according to protocol. Ensure strict adherence to radiation safety standards for patients and staff. Accurately document and label all imaging studies in the appropriate systems. Provide clear pre-procedure instructions and address patient concerns compassionately. Maintain equipment through daily checks and coordinate necessary repairs or maintenance. Collaborate with radiologists and medical staff to ensure optimal image quality and diagnostic value.
