Category Imaging - MRI Job Type Travel Nestled in the scenic foothills of Virginia's Blue Ridge Mountains, working in Crozet offers a refreshing blend of natural beauty and small-town charm. As an MRI Technologist in Crozet, you will gain exposure to innovative imaging practices and collaborate with a skilled, diverse team. Working weekends on a 3x12 schedule (Saturday to Monday, day shifts), you'll have the rest of your week free to explore all that central Virginia has to offer. Qualifications:
Valid ARRT (MR) or equivalent MRI technologist certification Current and unencumbered state licensure as required At least one year of recent experience in MRI imaging Efficient in operating advanced MRI equipment and comfort with digital healthcare record systems Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct diagnostic MRI examinations according to physicians' orders and protocol standards Ensure patient safety, provide education on MRI procedures, and maintain a patient-centered approach Accurately record patient histories and document all pertinent data Maintain MRI equipment, monitor for quality control, and ensure compliance with safety regulations Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other clinical professionals to optimize patient outcomes
