Working here as a travel Radiology Technologist offers not just a rich professional environment, but also the chance to enjoy natural beauty and adventure during your downtime. This assignment places you at a 450-bed Level II Trauma Center's outpatient diagnostic imaging center, presenting a unique opportunity to expand your skills and learn from diverse leadership within a high-performing organization. You will develop professionally through exposure to new equipment, advanced diagnostic protocols, and the latest electronic medical records (EPIC). Strengthen your résumé with specialized experience in a setting renowned for excellence in patient care.
Schedule/Hours:
Guaranteed 36 hours weekly
Thursday, Saturday, & Sunday:
6:45 am - 7:15 pm Every Saturday & Sunday required No on-call requirements
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years' experience with DEXA scans and radiographs in outpatient diagnostic centers ARRT certification and BLS (AHA only) required Current Virginia radiography license (or status update if pending) Strong proficiency in diagnostic imaging Experience with
EPIC EMR
preferred
Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostic radiographic exams, specializing in DEXA scans for outpatient diagnostics Support the outpatient imaging center by ensuring safe, accurate, and efficient imaging services Collaborate closely with medical staff and multi-disciplinary teams Maintain up-to-date records in the EPIC system
