How you'll contribute A Multi-Modality Tech who excels in this role: Performs Radiology and CT studies to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of disease. Ensures compliance with patient care quality standards as it relates to the care provided to all age groups of patients ranging from infants to geriatric. Maintains efficient and effective department operation while requiring compliance with all JCAHO, federal, and state laws. Is able to perform radiographic and CT (or mammography), for all age groups including: infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. Is familiar with the proper procedure for screening patients for contrast risks, injecting contrast, and contrast reactions. Starts IV's using proper technique. Is familiar with the RIS, Teleradiology, and PACS systems. Administers Oral and IV contrast under the direction and supervision of a Radiologist. Ongoing learning and career advancement opportunities. What we're looking for: Applicants should be graduate of an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology. Is registered or eligible for registry by the ARRT in Radiography and cross trained in CT/MRI/Mammography or Registered in CT/MRI/Mammography within 12 months of hire.Additional requirements include:
• BLS required by completion of hospital orientation.
