Key Qualifications:
ARRT certification (IR specialty required) Active state license (or eligibility for Virginia) Minimum of 1 year of recent Interventional Radiology Technologist experience BLS certification (current) Strong understanding of interventional procedures, safety protocols, and sterile technique Excellent communication and adaptability skills
Responsibilities:
Prepare patients for interventional radiology procedures and ensure patient safety throughout the process Operate advanced imaging equipment to assist radiologists with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures Maintain accurate documentation and uphold rigorous infection control standards Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and multi-disciplinary teams Monitor patient responses and provide clear post-procedure instructions
