Travel assignment (specific scheduling details to be provided during interview process)
Desired Experience & Qualifications:
Active, current certification as an Interventional Radiology Technologist (RT-R) by ARRT State licensure to practice in Virginia (or eligibility to obtain prior to assignment start) Minimum of 1 year recent IR Tech experience in a hospital or clinical setting Proficiency with vascular and nonvascular interventional procedures, sterile technique, and fluoroscopic imaging equipment Strong interpersonal and communication skills Flexibility and adaptability in fast-paced environments
Key Responsibilities:
Perform advanced imaging procedures alongside radiologists, supporting diagnostic and interventional treatments Operate and maintain a variety of imaging equipment, ensuring optimal image quality and patient safety Prepare patients for procedures, explaining steps and addressing concerns with compassion and professionalism Maintain accurate documentation and records in compliance with regulatory standards Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care
