Job Summary and Qualifications Assists the IR supervisor to ensure the safety guidelines and radiographic equipment safety is in compliance for the department. Renders patient care in a professional and courteous manner. Explain all procedures to the patient. Performs physical assessment by checking IV's, catheters, tubing, etc. Communicates and coordinates all Interventional Radiology procedures with the appropriate caregivers. Maintains competency and proficiency with all Interventional Radiology equipment in order to obtain quality images. Complies with radiation safety guidelines for patient and self. Utilizes all personal protective equipment. Operates Interventional Radiology equipment safely. Demonstrates the ability to perform all necessary computer operations (i.e.RIS, PACS
) to ensure proper procedural documentation and charges. Renders patient care in a professional and courteous manner. Explain all procedures to the patient.
