Broaden your resume with hands-on experience using advanced GE 1.5T and 3T MRI equipment, while caring for diverse patient populations—excluding pediatrics—in an environment that emphasizes both teamwork and autonomy. Schedule Full-time, 40 hours per week 8-hour day shifts, Monday to Friday, 6:30am - 3:00pm 4 days of call per month Qualifications Minimum one year MRI experience in a hospital setting Experience with GE MRI equipment required ARRT (MR) certification required BLS certification required (AHA; can be obtained prior to direct patient care) Experience with PACS and Epic EHR preferred Associate degree from ARRT-accredited program preferred Strong knowledge of MR safety principles, scan protocols, and workflows Key Responsibilities Perform MRI scans according to established protocols, ensuring image quality and patient safety Administer IV injections and magnetic contrast agents Educate and support patients before, during, and after procedures Support training and oversight of MRI students and new technologists Troubleshoot equipment issues, reporting malfunctions as needed Maintain accurate patient records and confirm data for each study Benefits & Perks Tax-advantaged housing and travel stipends to maximize your earnings Premium compensation Comprehensive healthcare benefits and 401(k) with employer contribution Job stability in a supportive, reputable healthcare environment Dedicated travel assistance for a seamless relocation experience Seize this opportunity to advance your clinical skills, build your professional network, and explore all that Mechanicsville and the surrounding region have to offer.
