Contribute to our accredited Primary Stroke Center, performing critical, time-sensitive brain imaging such as CTs and CT Angiograms for rapid stroke assessment and supporting best-in-class neurology and stroke care. Support specialized imaging needs across multiple disciplines, including orthopedic and spine imaging for joint conditions and complex spinal trauma, cardiology and vascular imaging (such as coronary CT angiograms), oncology and lung health (including CT lung screenings), and interventional radiology procedures. Collaborate closely with Emergency Department teams to deliver acute and trauma imaging, utilizing state-of-the-art equipment for efficient, high-stakes diagnosis and treatment support. Position Overview Provide high-quality Computed Tomography (CT) imaging services to patients in accordance with established protocols, under the supervision of a qualified physician. The CT Technologist performs all CT procedures following departmental standards and physicians' orders, adheres to regulatory guidelines for radiation safety, and administers contrast media as required per protocol. Key Responsibilities Consistently deliver quality CT imaging, ensuring accurate, timely studies that meet protocol standards and support optimal patient outcomes. Collaborate closely with supervising physicians to perform CT scans, following clinical protocols and adapting techniques as necessary for each patient. Educate patients and families about imaging procedures, addressing concerns and ensuring a positive care experience. Operate CT equipment safely and efficiently, ensuring all equipment is properly maintained, clean, and in optimal working condition. Accurately complete all required department documentation, contributing to effective patient care and recordkeeping. Manage supply inventory to ensure readiness for all scheduled and emergent examinations. Strictly adhere to radiation safety standards and regulatory requirements. Skillfully administer CT contrast agents in accordance with protocol and patient safety guidelines. Qualifications Trade School Graduate - Radiologic Technology ARRT or CNMT Must obtain ARRT (CT) advanced registry within 2 years of hire
