Desired Experience and Qualifications:
Demonstrated experience as an Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist Proficient in use of imaging equipment and IR procedures Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification required Active BLS (Basic Life Support) certification Strong communication and teamwork skills Adaptability and willingness to quickly learn new protocols and technologies Previous travel assignment experience is a plus, but not required
Key Responsibilities:
Perform a variety of IR procedures adhering to facility protocols Prepare and position patients for imaging, ensuring safety and comfort throughout Operate and maintain imaging equipment, reporting any malfunctions Collaborate closely with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes Document imaging results and patient information with accuracy and confidentiality Uphold strict safety and infection control standards within the imaging suite
