Qualifications:
Current and valid license or certification in Interventional Radiology Technology (state-specific requirements apply) Previous clinical experience as an Imaging IR Tech preferred Proficiency in operating and troubleshooting advanced imaging and IR equipment Understanding of sterile techniques and safety protocols for interventional procedures Strong communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills
Responsibilities:
Conduct interventional radiologic procedures under physician guidance, ensuring precision and adherence to safety standards Prepare and maintain imaging equipment, monitoring for quality and functionality Assist physicians with image-guided diagnostic and therapeutic interventions Document all relevant patient interactions, maintaining accurate and confidential records Provide compassionate, detail-oriented patient care throughout each procedure Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices
