Positions patients to produce a radiograph as prescribed by a qualified physician. Provides immobilization devices as required. Adjusts controls of equipment as needed to produce a radiograph as prescribed by a qualified physician. Administers drugs or chemical mixtures orally or as enemas to render organs opaque. Provides radiation protection as needed per exam. Processes films by either automatic or hand processing. Transports patients to and from patients waiting area and/or patient rooms assuming responsibility for their safety. Maintains orderliness and cleanliness during procedures. May answer phone and make appointments. May be requested to retrieve and file jackets. May purge files. Must have demonstrated ability to interact positively with Administration, Directors, Managers, Supervisors, peers, co-workers, subordinates and visitors. Must meet regular attendance standard and must stay at or below average sick leave utilization levels. What You'll Bring High school diploma or equivalent Enrollment in an accredited Radiology Technologist program Current X-Ray Technician registration issued by the WA Department of Health.
