Job Description

Vesa Health & Technology has an opportunity for a CT tech to provide care to our Nation's military members and their dependents at Madigan Army Hospital in Tacoma, WA! This is a unique and rewarding opportunity to provide care in a supportive environment where patient care is the only focus!

The Computed Tomography Technologist shall have knowledge of the full range of professional principles and practices of computed tomography and routine radiography. Deliver comprehensive medical imaging services within the personnel, supply, andequipment capabilities of the facility. The Computed Tomography Technologist shall be required to primarily operate a 64-slice Computed Tomography (CT) scanner to produce cross-sectional images of patients' bodies for diagnostic purposes; perform diagnostic imaging procedures, such as routine and STAT radiographs, and portable radiography (as a backup in the official absence/lack of military personnel). Contrast Administration. Prepares and administers contrast media orally, rectally, and intravenously when it is requested. Ensures patient fully completes CT IV Contrast Questionnaire, and checks labs (BUN, Creatinine, GFR, HCG) as needed according to patient history. If labs are out of recommended guidelines, seeks radiologist approval before administering contrast for the exam. The computed tomography technologist shall have a working knowledge of computer systems such as Genesis and Fuji Synapse. Fuji Synapse Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS). This computer system transfers patient data/images throughout the imaging infrastructure and is a critical software application. CT Techs working in the diagnostic imaging flight will be trained on Fuji Synapse PACS. Please reply with your ARRT, BLS, and desired pay rate today for immediate consideration!
