1 Description American Traveler is hiring a Mammography Technologist with at least 1 year of mammography-specific experience for an outpatient breast imaging center in Yakima, WA. Details Outpatient breast imaging center with 4 mammography rooms, 1 special procedures room, and 2 ultrasound rooms Patient population is primarily adults and geriatric; patients under 18 are rare Procedures include a variety of diagnostic radiology and breast imaging: screenings, diagnostics, biopsies, wire localizations, and stereotactic biopsies Epic EMR experience preferred Monday through Friday, 8-hour day shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM 40 hours per week No floating required No on-call required Requirements Minimum of 1 year of mammography-specific experience required ARRT (RT)(M) certification required Current BLS required Proof of meeting MQSA requirements required WA State license required (license required if applicable) Proficiency in mammography positioning, technical settings, and equipment operation Experience with screenings, diagnostics, and biopsy procedures Wire localization experience required; candidates who have not performed wire locs recently may be considered if comfortable being refreshed on the procedure Stereotactic biopsy competency preferred Ability to work independently and adapt to patients of all age groups Additional Information Responsibilities include producing quality diagnostic studies, documenting patient history, and delivering patient-centered care across all breast imaging modalities Must be comfortable working solo as the sole technologist on Saturdays First-time travelers are welcome to apply Two professional references from a supervisor or above (Charge Nurse, Manager, Director, etc.) are required prior to start; one reference may be submitted at the time of consideration Any scrub color is acceptableSimilar jobs in Yakima, WA
