Schedule/Hours 2 x 12-hour shifts per week 2 x 8-hour shifts per week Includes weekend and call rotation Key Responsibilities Perform MRI procedures as ordered by licensed practitioners, ensuring optimal image quality Prepare and position patients, addressing comfort, safety, and procedural instructions Operate MRI equipment and manage associated system components, adhering to safety protocols Start and maintain venous access, administer contrast media, and confirm patient consent Assess images for technical quality; archive and submit for physician review Maintain accurate records using radiology information systems (including PACS) Provide instruction to peers and students, contribute to department projects and committees Support patient needs and initiate basic life support if necessary Practice universal precautions and maintain aseptic technique throughout procedures Qualifications Graduate of an accredited radiography program (education verification required) Experience as an MRI Technologist ARRT Radiography registration and
