Schedule/Hours:
2 x 12-hour shifts 2 x 8-hour shifts Includes weekend and call rotation
Key Responsibilities:
Perform MRI procedures for accurate diagnostic imaging under physician orders. Prepare and instruct patients, ensuring comfort and minimizing anxiety. Apply safety principles and operate all MRI-related equipment efficiently. Position patients appropriately, select pulse sequences, and conduct venipuncture for contrast administration. Follow all protocols for consent, safety, and aseptic technique. Assist physicians with interventional procedures, monitor patient wellbeing, and initiate life support if needed. Use radiology information systems (PACS), complete all required reports, and archive images. Provide instruction to peers and students as appropriate.
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited radiography program (education verification required) Experience as an MRI Technologist ARRT Radiography registration and MRI registration required Approved BLS certification required
