Two 12-hour shifts Two 8-hour shifts Includes weekend and call rotation; flexibility required
Role Overview:
Deliver expert MRI imaging services, collaborating with a dynamic team to ensure superior care across a spectrum of diagnostic needs. Expect to diversify your skills by performing procedures in a fast-paced environment that values both teamwork and independent expertise. Key Responsibilities:
Conduct MRI procedures under physician orders for diagnostic interpretation Prepare and position patients, ensuring safety, comfort, and clear communication Operate MRI systems, physiologic gating, and associated devices to capture quality images Select protocols, perform venipuncture, and administer contrast media as necessary Evaluate image quality and manage digital data for accurate display and archival Practice strict adherence to safety, aseptic technique, and universal precautions Assist physicians with interventional procedures and initiate basic life support if needed Maintain records using radiology information systems (including PACS) Instruct and mentor team members and students
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited radiography program (proof of education required) Recent experience as an MRI technologist ARRT Radiography registration and
ARRT MRI
registration Current BLS certification
