Rad Tech in Milwaukee, WI Sunbelt Staffing - 3.8 Milwaukee, WI Job Details Contract 14 hours ago Qualifications ARRT (R) Certification Medical imaging Full Job Description Degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1+ years Radiology Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Make an immediate impact in patient care by utilizing your expertise in diagnostic imaging. A healthcare organization is seeking a skilled Radiology Tech to support their imaging department. This contract position offers a chance to collaborate with dedicated healthcare professionals while delivering vital services to patients in need.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform diagnostic radiology procedures according to physician orders and clinical protocols Ensure high-quality imaging through proper equipment use, positioning, and patient interactions Adhere to safety standards for patients and team members, including radiation protection measures Maintain accurate imaging records and enter data into electronic health systems Communicate clearly with patients to explain procedures and ensure comfort Work collaboratively with radiologists, physicians, and nursing staff for optimal patient outcomes Assist in monitoring equipment function and reporting any maintenance issues promptly
Desired Qualifications:
Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification State licensure, if required Prior experience in a hospital imaging setting strongly preferred Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities Strong attention to detail, professionalism, and patient-centered approach
