Schedule:
2 x 12-hour shifts 2 x 8-hour shifts Includes weekend and call rotationRole Overview:
Work at a state-of-the-art facility where you'll perform MRI procedures and related techniques critical to patient diagnosis and care. You'll prepare patients, operate advanced imaging equipment, administer contrast media, and assist physicians with interventional procedures. Enhance your skillset while ensuring safety and comfort for all patients, adapting to the dynamic environment with flexible scheduling.Key Responsibilities:
Perform MRI exams as ordered by a licensed medical practitioner for diagnostic interpretation Prepare and instruct patients to maximize cooperation and minimize anxiety Apply MRI safety principles for patient and team well-being Select, operate, and troubleshoot MRI systems and associated equipment Position/immobilize patients for optimal imaging while prioritizing their comfort Administer venipuncture and contrast media as needed Evaluate image quality, manipulate digital data, and submit for physician review Maintain accurate patient records and comply with regulatory standards Provide practical MRI instruction to partners, students, and ensure a collaborative team atmosphere Respond appropriately in emergency situations, including basic life support if neededDesired Experience & Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited radiography program (education verification required) Experience as an MRI Technologist ARRT Radiography and MRI registration required Current approved BLS certification requiredProfessional Benefits:
