Travel Interventional Radiologic Technologist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated X-ray Technician to join our medical team. Duties:

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using X-ray equipment
• Position patients properly for imaging procedures
• Adjust equipment controls to set exposure factors based on the specific imaging needs
• Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures
• Follow protocols and guidelines for radiation safety
• Develop and process X-ray films or digital images
• Evaluate images for quality and accuracy
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret images and provide diagnostic evaluations
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Adhere to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols

Requirements:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Current ARRT required. Current, valid, and active certification to practice as a Radiology Tech in the state of employment required. Current BLS certification from a hospital-approved vendor required.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS

Two (2) years of previous experience required. State Fluoroscopy license required where applicable. Hospital experience preferred. Ability to project a professional image. Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements. Strong organizational, prioritizing and analytical skills. Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant. Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions. Freedom from illegal use of and effects of use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace.
