1 Description American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray with 2+ years of experience for a 13-week acute care assignment requiring ARRT certification and proficiency with C-arm and fluoroscopy procedures. Details Work in an acute care hospital radiology department with 5 imaging rooms Common studies include X-ray, OR C-arm, and fluoroscopy procedures Department uses Toshiba rad rooms, Carestream portable units, and OEC C-arms EMR is Epic; PACS is Fuji Synapse Radiologists and residents are in-house 24/7 Average of approximately 400 scans/studies per day 12-hour rotating day and night shifts Weekend and holiday coverage is required No floating to other areas required Requirements Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Radiology Technologist Current ARRT certification and BLS required WV State License required if applicable Proficiency with C-arm and fluoroscopy procedures required Experience with Epic EMR and Fuji Synapse PACS preferred Valid driver's license required for consideration Additional Information Perform X-ray, OR C-arm, and fluoroscopy studies in a high-volume acute care setting Scrubs are provided by the facility Department-specific orientation is provided Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible Travelers who have previously worked at any WVU Medicine location must have taken a 2-year break before reapplying Travelers may not work within the WVU system for longer than one cumulative year before taking a 2-year break A radiation badge must be provided by the staffing agency, as the facility does not supply one Two supervisor and peer references are required for consideration, including one from a recent permanent employer if applicable within the last 12 months First-time travelers are not explicitly excluded, but strong clinical experience is expected given the high-volume environment
