Full-Time (may include weekends and holidays as needed)

Job Summary:

Hayward Gardens Post Acute is seeking a creative, organized, and compassionate Activities Director to lead and coordinate engaging programs for our residents. The Activities Director is responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive activity program that enhances residents' physical, social, emotional, and cognitive well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, organize, and implement daily, weekly, and monthly activity programs Develop activities that meet the diverse needs and interests of residents Coordinate group and one-on-one activities, including recreational, social, and therapeutic programs Organize special events, holiday celebrations, and community outings Maintain activity calendars and documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support resident care plans Supervise and train activity staff and volunteers Ensure supplies are ordered, organized, and within budget Encourage resident participation and build positive relationships

Qualifications:

Previous experience in activities programming, preferably in a healthcare or senior living setting Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills Ability to create engaging and inclusive programs for a diverse resident population Knowledge of state and federal regulations related to activity programs in post-acute care Certification as an Activities Director (or eligibility to obtain) preferred Compassionate, energetic, and patient-centered approach
